Courses are scheduled based on your requests. If you don't see the course you need scheduled on dates you can attend, check our calendar and request it on any available date - we do our best to accommodate.

1. Community First Aid

First Aid & CPR skills are applicable in your daily life, both at home and at work to prepare you to act on, control and manage life´s emergencies. Before a professional responder arrives to help, you can make all the difference in helping someone in need.

Community First Aid Courses are designed to provide essential skills to interested Good Samaritans who are interested in first aid but do not require a workplace first aid certification.

2. First Aid For Workplace

First Aid & CPR training is mandatory for some employees in the workplace. These skills and knowledge are also applicable to everyone´s daily life. This is why we teach people First Aid & CPR in easy-to-follow steps, empowering them to act on, prevent, and manage life´s emergencies. In the past this type of training was known as ´Industrial First Aid´ it is now referred to as ´Occupational First Aid´ frequently abbreviated as simply OFA.

To find out if your workplace requires these levels of certification (in British Columbia) WorkSafe BC has provided a helpful First Aid Assessment tool to assist you.

Workplace First Aid Courses are designed to provide essential skills to meet the requirements of the workplace and assist those who are interested in first aid. For those not requiring the workplace certification the community first aid certification might be a better option.

Basic Life Support

BLS [replaces HCP-CPR]

Emergency Child Care First Aid

Emergency First Aid / Basic First Aid (equivalent to OFA 1) Blended

First Aid & CPR skills courses can be catered to specific roles and industries. Specialized First Aid Courses prepare you to assist before a professional responder arrives to help, you can make all the difference in helping someone in need.

4. Online Training

Additional courses are offered both by and through BC First aid that do not relate directly to First Aid Training. These courses are, in some cases, supplemental training or in others related training in other related areas.
